Woodworking's lexicon can be overwhelming for beginners - heck, even experts can have some problems. Books and magazines are filled with terms many of us might be unfamiliar with. Well, you're in luck. We at Woodworking Magazine have scoured our resources to find the definitions for many important words most useful to woodworkers.
When you use our Interactive Glossary to search for a word such as "clamp," not only will you find its definition, but you'll also see every other definition that has the word "clamp" mentioned in it (such as "caul," "dog," "dowel" and "hand screw").
Of course, if you spot something that doesn't sound right to you, or if you have a term that you'd like us to include in this list, please feel free to send an e-mail to Managing Editor Megan Fitzpatrick.
